CFR Partners with The Georgia Ballet for ‘A Dancing Duet: An Evening in Support of Dance and Families’
On Sunday, December 6, 2009, The Georgia Ballet and The Center for Family Resources announce a special fundraising event in celebration of each organization’s 50th Anniversary. A Dancing Duet: An Evening in Support of Dance and Families will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre at the Cobb Civic Center, and will feature Atlanta area celebrities dancing on stage with members of The Georgia Ballet. More… |

Emerson Arts and Crafts Show to Benefit CFR
On November 20 and 21, Emerson Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Marietta will host its first annual Arts and Crafts Show. The show will feature the work of local artists including pottery, oil paintings, portraiture, photography, quilts, jewelry and more with 25 percent of sales coming back to support CFR! 10 Pin Challenge: Building Hope One Pin At A Time
On Saturday, June 27, the Center for Family Resources hosted its first 10 Pin Challenge Corporate/Adult Bowling Tournament Fundraiser. The event was held at Brunswick Zone Lanes located on Delk Road in Marietta and welcomed 20 teams from local businesses, civic groups, churches and neighborhood associations. CFR Hosts Atlanta’s Only Official Oscar Night® America Party
On Sunday, February 24, The Center for Family Resources hosted Atlanta’s only official Oscar® viewing party, its premier annual fundraising event that preliminary numbers indicate raised $281,000. Co-chaired by Tony Britton and Bill Pinto, the black tie optional party was moved this year to a new venue, the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre and welcomed more than 700 guests. More info… |
